I vote drop the skirt. Make both rear fenders removable. That way you can make the design as eye pleasing as you wish. A few bits of tube and rod will align the fenders and two bolts to anchor. 😊

I like the simple design of this, been looking at shrinker/stretchers for quite a while and trying to justify the added cost for the stands but this design works great and the cost is more time than money so I think I'll get the bench model and spend a few hours building my own stand, thanks for the help Div, you've always got the answer to my questions

Hey Div, Good explanation for the folks who did not know that it could be done. I am so used to seeing this tool mounted on a stand I would never consider mounting it on a bench. Many shops have the shrinker mounted on the opposite side from the stretcher which is convenient but it requires that you have more room to operate the tool. Mounting the two tools side by side is not a good idea because it causes one or the other to be in the way for using the other. One could put each tool on a separate stand to place them against a wall to take up less walking room near the tools. Like most anything else, To each their own ! Work Safe, Be Well Enjoy Life
