Celebrating food diversity, scientific advances, and community innovation
The Periodic Table of Food Initiative is building a global ecosystem of partners to map food quality of the planet’s edible biodiversity. We are providing standardized tools, data, and training to map food quality based on biomolecular composition and associated meta-data on food system characteristics. Through its capacity strengthening arms, Food EDU and Good Food Fellows, we are training current and future researchers and leaders of the food system to enhance human and planetary health.
During this launch event at The Rockefeller Foundation, we showcase PTFI and Food EDU’s suite of foundational resources to map food quality for the research community and inspire the next generation of food, agriculture, health, and nutrition leaders.
An initiative of the Periodic Table of Food Initiative, Food EDU, The Rockefeller Foundation, the American Heart Association, Alliance of Bioversity International - CIAT, and Food Tank.
