In this video, I will show you how I turn a messy, unorganized space in my basement into the perfect office for my needs. I am a maker and a KZitemr so I needed a workspace that is suitable for editing videos. I also spend a great deal of time designing and modeling projects on my computer. Also, if you are familiar with my channel, I love to incorporate 3D printed parts whenever possible. Having multiple computers, a 3D printer, and possibly other machines in the future, I needed as much counter space as possible. I purchased the base cabinets from Ikea. These are their basic kitchen cabinets (15 inch thin profile). I custom built the countertops from red oak boards and I used Rubio Monocoat to finish and seal the counters.
