In this episode I build and install a luthier's vise into the cabinets I made last in the last episode, using left over scraps of wood from that build, and two pipe clamps that cost a total of AUD$50. A smaller vise for luthiers from Stew Mac costs about $200 more! So let's save some money, make some sawdust, and get into another workshop upgrade.
This video series takes us from an empty workshop, to a fully operational small shop luthiery operation over the course of 3 months. I'll show you the jigs and templates I use, how to make your own, with downloadable CNC files, cut lists, and blueprints for each project.
