Things I would've done differently: 1. 1/2 or 3/4" plywood instead of 2x3s for flooring (for weight reasons). 2. After framing base, flip over > treat lumber > insulate > Tyvek (no wire mesh) > add axle > flip. 3. Find a junk trailer on Facebook marketplace > cut off and use trailer tongue. or weld a more solid one with square tubing. 4. I did add a cross brace to keep the door more solid. 5. The hinged escape hatch didn't leave much room for the chickens to get down. I ended up unhinging it and now it's essentially a cover that gets put on at night, off in the morning. I may add an automatic chicken coop door that ties into the battery. 6. Tyvek the entire walls. Chickens will peck at insulation. 7. Find a used 300W solar panel (or 2) on Facebook marketplace. Add another deep cycle battery for cloudy days. 8. The gate that connects the underneath to the trampoline run was supposed to open inward, but the coop wasn't elevated enough. Any smaller and it would've made the tunnel even smaller (already 12x12"). Maybe instead add an opening to slide a 1/2" piece of plywood in to secure it. Or even another automatic chicken coop door.
