Great Idea. Thanks because I have a heavy duty auger boom with an trailer receiver on top of it and never thought of using it to move trailers or pick up vehicle to move around. Funny thing is I have the same receiver as you to do that task . Thanks for your idea and I need not modify anything. You made my day 👍😎

Good day I use to work in welding, possibly didn't help my asthma any. We made big round bale carriers with 3 in sq. tube, & that what I thought you were making. Handy outfit, but can't figure what it going on other side. But doggy was really following you around. When you were talking about truck, doggie watch u & finally sat down yet. Good unit. Thanks

He doesn't like skid steer attachments... not sure why. I wouldn't mind a bigger bale mover. Thanks for watching!

My thoughts are that you offset it a bit to add an overhead jib pole extension for some overhead lifting , that the later date?
@AndyFromm

That might work. The other part of this i didn't build yet is a pincher part so it would make it a tree or post puller. I have the parts except the pins & bushings.

The half i didn't build was going to be a hydraulic pincher tree/puller thing. It is handy for moving stuff 👍

that clamp that doesnt like to clamp anymore is a soft grip clamp meant for holding wood and secondly why lay a bead of weld if your gonna grind it all off lol
@AndyFromm

I took the clamp apart and there was a piece out of place, it works as it should now. I ground those welds down so it would lay on the adapter plate better because i didn't get the welds laid flat enough. Thanks for watching.

@@AndyFromm i had it beat into my head in school that you always bevel or chamfer anything thicker than 3/16 so you have a full pen weld and less to grind off for a smooth finish without losing any holding strength

This is the guy on ebay I got it from. They are made in china but shipped from USA to my knowledge. He has other styles available. I would recommend going over their welds again. Thanks www.ebay.com/itm/114240676817

You can get them from a lot of places. I went to a machine shop in SW Missouri. They had an adapter for my New Holland 675E backhoe to convert it to a skid steer connection. I got the 1/2" heavy duty back plates for my forks. I need to go back to get another one and use it to make an adapter for my 4 in 1 bucket. I don't want to alter the original connection so i'l make an adapter for it.

@@AndyFromm I like the length you built yours. I just went to Orschelins and got the adapter for the back of my tractor. It is pretty short but, it has a gooseneck adapter on the top. I also plan on getting a tractor to skid steer adapter to use it on my Bobcat T650.

@@flash1259 the length does make it kinda hard to curl up with heavier loads but I like that its longer for maneuvering some trailers around.

@@mistersniffer6838 I really wanted to get the next model bigger but i couldn't find one, maybe the next machine. I used a old farmall 350 with a loader for many years. 👍
@@AndyFromm - Yea yea, rub it in! I just ended up dragging my 2000 on the rear springs and frame 500 ft through the yard and into the woods with my 2500HS silverado. Wasnt pretty, but I did it when no one was looking and got the job done. : /
