A lot of us that watch your videos have no idea how much goes into making your videos, collecting the materials/supplies, and then constructing the shelter. So I thank you for all that you do to bring us these videos. I enjoy them and was missing these kinds of videos. You and all your hard work are appreciated.

Hey Lilly you touched on a subject that always concerns me, that is, I'm never comfortable making a fire in my woods. Could you do a video on how to make safe campfires? BTW that was an awesome shingling job and you really rock those pants!
@saritanhjsirat1195
7 жыл бұрын
Gary Braches you could actually build your fire up meaning start with a small patch of fire then work your way up. If you need more fire, keep adding wood!
@mikehunt4487
7 жыл бұрын
Making a ring of rocks around a patch of exposed bedrock or some sand/gravel is pretty safe. Another thing to make sure of is that there are no branches at least 10 feet above the fire pit and that you clear a 5 foot circle around it of any leaves or other debris

Thanks for all the suggestions. I just finished watching the fire pit video and I'm inspired to try it. Good tips on clearing the roots, watching the overhead branches ( I have to remember to look up..something I tend to neglect) and also raking a perimeter. I'd like to be able to relax while looking at my Fire rather than constantly worry about it. These suggestions should help.
