Fie upon thee, Lady Arttea! Why give 1400 crit resist from Transmutation when you can give 1650 crit resist from rallying cry PLUS 300 weapon and spell damage on top of that??!!!! Maybe I’m missing something but I can’t see how transmutation could possibly measure up to RC. Or …maybe it’s just that I have PTSD from tanking vet cauldron final boss while my PUG healer is for some reason wearing gawdang transmutation… instead of literally any other set. True story: checked combat metrics, saw that I was doing 95% of group heals, 100% of my own heals, but, I was getting critical resistance transmutation buff from our healer. Ffs. Asked him about it after and he’s all like, “oh yeah it’s my pvp healer”…like, you couldn’t spring for another set for healing a PVE vet DLC? 😂 Anyway Arttea I always love your content. Still a great build and video. And…Do you need RC? How much of it do you have farmed? It’s gone down in price over time but it’s still a great set. Can almost guarantee your audience- whoever’s on PC NA would check their inventory and send you any extra pieces they have for pretty much any sets you need. Self included. Just go through your set collection on video and let us know what you don’t have yet LOL. Or is there something I’m missing. Battle spirit is active for all pvp content and zones, correct? If so, wouldn’t RC be vastly superior to transmutation in like all circumstances? (Only exception being dueling outside of pvp areas, like in overlands or in peoples housing.) I truly think RC is a lot better. But I love your philosophy on 1 so-called “selfish” set and one buff set. A dead healer isn’t healing the team.
@Arttea
Жыл бұрын
@@iPhone-eb9cz I actually did mention RC in my video when I discussed a bunch of other alternative support sets ;p It's a great set to use! But as I said, A LOT (everyone and their mother) of damage dealers already run that set, so it would be quite redundant to wear it as well when another teammate is already using it and providing that buff to the group.

That was one of the most entertaining build videos I've ever watched. Seriously, I struggle to stay awake watching other guides, but your humor is top notch. Its given me some great ideas for my pvp templar. Im not much into BG's and prefer no cp cyrodiil, so the procs won't work. But I might cook up a selfish solo build involving a combo of your suggestions + deadly strike and see if I can create something that benefits from damage and heals for cp cyro.

The master's resto story really hit me. I primarily heal pve content and my first perfected arena resto EVER was this resto. My first run through vdsa I got it from a friend who got the drop. To this day I still appreciate them doing that for me and it was a big deal. This resto is used a ton and a must have for any pve healer at some point in their journey. You are a god for giving them away and this all sounds kinda cheesy just talking about a resto but who cares... it is soooo appreciated and we will never forget it. ty

I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for this video (and all your other ones). I am a first time Pvp player and ended up sticking with my Warden, but I adopted your hybrid heavy sustain bar + heal bar combo and I can see it working. I can see the Enemy players become confused when they start focusing the healer and they just can't kill me as fast as they thought they would :D. Ultimately they end up shifting their attention back to the DPS at which point and simply switch back to "healer mode". You are an INCREDIBLE and an evil genius. Thank you.

This can't be an ESO build video. It's clever. It's witty. It fails to boast. Trans is also good because it it has a couple of lines of regen. Gossamer is not great due to how the game treats healing versus overhealing. Basically if you're healing someone who doesn't need it, some sets fail to proc. PA is a nice set I use on my support speed sorc for Cyro. But in the kinds of fights you enjoy Pariah simply makes the most sense. BG healing does require some offense but, unlike ball group healing, people will notice what you do when you heal...well...more of the time. Good video.

arch mage is best sustain set for a healer imo. you get like 400-500 recovery from a heavy attack for 10 seconds. which synergizes well with the heavy attacks you do for major mending and the uptime refreshed every heavy attack so basically free full uptime, highly recommend it over wretched personally.

My current go-to selfish solo healer build (for cyrodiil/icp specifically not battlegrounds)and mostly on a Necro healer (but no reason for it to not work on any other healer) is: 1 Armor Of Trainee Heavy Chest Reinforced trait tri-stat glyph(nice health boost) 5 Daedric Trickery: 3 body heavy impen (legs tri stat glyph rest magic), and Resto Staff Powered (fun set to use and easy to proc with quick light or heavy resto staff attacks, or you can also slot a dot like Degeneration to proc it) 5 Rallying Cry: 2 jewellry (all Triune traits with Magic Recovery glyphs on them) 1 light body piece (usually sash) and Sword and Shield backbar (easy to keep this procced in combat with lots of bar swapping etc) Mythic Ring: Death Dealers Fete ( but never tried Markyn ring so that can absolutely work too) Monster Set: Roksa The Warped 1 Heavy Helmet 1 Medium Shoulder (can also use Magma Incarnate, Earthgore, or Ozezans if you can be smart with potions and general resource management) Also a note: I always run vampire on my healers. Fully buffed in combat in cyrodiil i think i sit at 37k health, 33k magic and around 20k stamina. Recovery is around 2.8k with max Roksa stacks and a potion running, but will be much higher with Cyrodiil Continuous Attack buff ontop.

Finally! A fellow healer i can agree with it! There is no such thing as a meta build for healers. Maybe, if you consistently run with a well organized team. But most of the time for a healer, in my perspective, it's all about situational game play and how to counter when people aren't organized, don't know mechanics, or just randomly get one shot. My armory holds different builds for dungeons, trials, BG, and Cyrodiil. 🤙🏽

I've been wondering what you run, so thank you for this. Going to have to give it a go at some stage. I've been healing on my warden and you are completely right about two things; allies not using synergies, and it being such a thankless job. Apparently, healers are useless 'cause we can't gank/bomb people. Lol. It makes me wish that there was a 'do not heal' toggle so that my heals went only to people who appreciate them - so make that 3 things you're right about! PVP healing makes you jaded af!
@Arttea
Жыл бұрын
Omg if there was a "do not heal" toggle I would ABSOLUTELY use it And not even to be toxic either (ok, maybe a little bit ;p) but man do you know HOW MANY people pull up to BGs wearing the ring of the pale order? Unfortunately heals can still end up targeting those players, they just don't actually heal them because they're wearing that mythic ring. So it absolutely destroys my ability to heal my team effectively, as all of my resources are wasted on heals that go to the teammate(s) that literally can't be healed. But yeah then there are the peeps that straight up are disrespectful to you because you got 0 kills even though you pulled their dumbasses out of execute 38 times that match They don't deserve heals either ;p
@Valeryu_Minka
Жыл бұрын
@@Arttea Oh, I didn't even think of Pale Order. That is a good point there. My brain was just in 110% toxic mode. If someone wants to be rude to me for not killing people, then I'll be rude back and let them learn to survive on their own. "In execute range? Get good scrub; heal yourself!" "Oh no! You've been hit by cold fire and now someone is whacking you with their sword and you're dying...whatever should you do?" Having to pay proper attention to my teammates and allies has given me a lot of existential gamer crisis moments. If I don't mutter 'WTF?' at least once every 5 minutes then we're just PVdooring. Even then, pretty sure the door has a good chance of winning... ;)

@Arttea
Жыл бұрын
Yes, my character is a High Elf. It is not often quoted as a BiS race (Breton, Imperial, and Argonian tend to be the crowd favourites when it comes to building a healer) but it isn't an awful choice either. The max mag passive, bonus spell/weap damage passive, and spell recharge passive that restores your secondary resource (in this case, stamina) are all very handy on a support spec. I am not sure what you mean by lots of "pvp points". But your setup sounds alright. If you are not going to be healing in heavy armor, consider trying to wear more medium armor over light armor, as the medium armor passives are ideal for healing. Your build sounds like it would work great in a bigger group, but if you are healing a smaller group, especially an uncoordinated one, you may find that it may be tricky to survive.

I'm new to PvP. I just finished leveling my Templar. Was thinking of running Mark of the Pariah with Spell Power Cure for BG's mostly. Would that be a good starting point? I also just got the Spaulder of Ruin mythic, does it have any use in pvp?

That is a pretty solid setup, as you’ll be providing a lot of spell and weapon damage to your allies with your support set and mythic (plus your own increased damage stats will boost your healing potential). 👌

@@Arttea Thanks for the reply. I just found your channel yesterday and you've got yourself a new sub. I like your sense of humor and your quirky videos. That is until I get steam rolled in BG's and then rage quit the game forever. 🤣
