I have been watching your videos over and over again and I never get tired of them. You guys make incredibly beautiful tables. I have been making wood and epoxy vases and bowls in a lathe for a couple of years now, but I think I’m ready to try and make a table. I am going to start with something small like a coffee table and see how that goes. You guys are an inspiration. Hopefully mine is as beautiful as yours are!

That looks really great. And I love the addition of the black into the blue river colors. I'm going to have to try that... and because of this video I think I'm going to have to finally get me the slab jig!!

Hey Mitch, could you vibrate the table and get the air bubbles out instead of chopping the top. As always, beautiful work
@StoneCoatCountertops

Great question! That works best for concrete, it may help a tiny bit but the bubbles naturally work there way to the top then the heat source pops them

Hey, Mitch, I have a question. When you mix a 5-gallon bucket of epoxy, I know it gets hot if not poured out. When you pour several 5-gallon buckets of blue/black epoxy on the table, does the epoxy also get hotter? I would think it burns that tape at the bottle.

Hey Mitch, why not go with RED for the river? I know the guys at the fire house picked the blue and it's gorgeous. But I would ha e suggested red

Hey Mitch, you say that anybody can use the epoxy. I am visually impaired considered legally blind. I’ve been in construction all my life trying to find a way to pass some time. The epoxy seems easy enough just wondering what your thoughts are?

I would say absolutely. But I am not Mitch. What is the actual concern about visually impaired? Not seeing the super fine details or a problem with color?
@jasonking5840

@@marcmcgrath8690 both seeing the fine detail example air bubbles, small bugs. Coloring is also an issue, but more on the glitter and dust part of it. The condition I have is called pigmentary glaucoma.

Hey Mitch, my basic dining table is wood, but when placing something hot on the table, it leaves a white mark. Can I seal my table? If so, how can I do it without making it too thick for the leave to fit?

Hey Mitch, been with Stone-coat a long time. just about ready to pour a Cedar river table. My question is; I am leaving the outside edges live. so I can't add a form board there, just at the ends, Do you see any problems width that? Also, my table is around 6' long and the river is 6-8", do I need reinforcing bars across the bottom? Some of the videos show this. Thanks
