That braised duck looks so delicious and what better than some fresh bread to mop up the gravy. Luckily I watched this after eating. Mmmmm, I must do a duck recipe sometime. 😊

It makes you even more hungry when you have to smell that wonderful food cooking and you're working right there!!! I put my crock pot in the garage so that won't happen to me! But I rarely cook outside.

Thanks, I turned them on my lathe a few years ago. I do the occasional live stream from the workshop where I turn bowls and give them away to viewers.

Best way to measure the roundhouse size it to place the centerpole where you want it then use string/rope nailed to the top center of the center pole and mark the outer perimeter.

Interestingly enough.. I have Never tried Duck. I'm not one for Chicken or fowl. I will do Turkey on occasion, like on Thanksgiving! I bet that huge saw would be great at cutting planks out of logs. Be interesting to figure out how to brace the logs though. In the cartoon bubble I see these silky saw blades attached to the water wheel log mills that had two blades cutting up and down in tandem cutting on two logs side by side.

Should have saved that duck fat.. gourmet's everywhere cringe seeing that go to waste. Did you guys ram the earth at the bottom before you put the posts in ? If not, it's not too late to pull them out and maybe throw a nice flat rock at bottom for security against settling. Good work on the cooking, looks delicious !
