My PC has only One Exhaust Fan in the back just like this video, I have Ryzen 5 2600 CPU (Stock Air Cooler), 16Gb 2666Mhz Ram (2 x 8Gb cards), RX 580 8Gb GPU, Mid Tower Case, so is One Exhaust Fan in the back enough to keep things cool?

Actually what amazes me is that we still use those small connectors for the power button and leds - just as i remember doing it in 1993...amazing that there is no standard for those still in 2020!!

Fantastic build I also got that msi Vega 56 card with 3 free AAA games for £250 brand new back in May fantastic performance and not as loud and hot as people say. It’s also ideal for that small case as it kicks the hot air out the back rather than blowing it around the case.

650w is the recommended psu wattage for the vega 56. Is it a big deal if buy a 550w despite their recommendation?
@wombit
5 жыл бұрын
I say it's better to be safe than sorry, use PC Part Picker and build your build there, and check the estimated wattage. Being atleast 100 watts over the estimated wattage is the sweet spot.
@TheAngrySaxon1

I ran a Vega 56 on less than 550w just fine, with no issues whatsoever. Just don't do a load of crazy overclocking.
@kalojankernone4013
5 жыл бұрын
You can even undervolt it and the card will use much much less wattage and unfortunately a 5 % performance loss. It's not a big deal you can still overclock it just don't go too crazy.

I already bought a Evga 750w g3 for much more than your average psu to be on the safe side as wombit mentioned. If it runs fine on 550w I have to wonder why the makers themselves recommend 650w.

can you test an nvidia tesla? some are really cheap, i've found a tesla c2050 for just 35 euros, it support dx12 and unlike most of teslas it even has a dvi port that can get 1440p, it may be cool to try gaming on it.

Excellent performance & value with the 3600. I put one into my build w/32 gigs gskill flareX, Msi b-450, WD sn750 m.2 & a rx 580. Last X-mas I gifted myself a 6600xt for a sweet gpu upgrade. Games such as Doom, Calisto Protocol, Anno 1800, WoWs ect., are super fluid. If you want to keep an eye on things I recomend Core Temp & TechPowerUp gpu-Z to monitor your jazz.

I am just in process of building PC with R5 3600 + Vega56 and i am glad that k saw this video to see what this kind of PC is capable of. It's gonna be: CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 COOLER: Esport Arctic Freezer 34 Duo MBO: MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX RAM: Patriot Viper 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3600MHz CL17 GPU: ASUS Arez Vega56 8GB HBM2 Samsung Memory SSD: 1x Kingston A400 120GB 1x Crucial MX500 500GB HDD: 2x WD Blue 1TB PSU: Riotoro Enigma G2 650w 80+ Gold CASE: MS Titan 2 PRO 4x120mm Fans I think this combo is best bang for buck PC for 1080p 144Hz gaming, it's not bad for 1440p either :)

I like the video and the build :) Keep it up . The one thing i disagree on is to still use the "normal" 1 tb hard drive. I really think that nowadays ssds are so cheap that there is absolutly no reason to use this slow storage anymore, not even for data you use very frequently.

My comment is about the Versa H15 case. In my search for super cheap budget mATX cases, I came across and ordered a Fractal Design Focus I Mini (not the G). I couldn't find any information whatsoever on the case.. but then I came across some TT Versa H15 videos (including yours, I watch your vids regularly btw). From a sheet metal standpoint the features, cutouts look almost identical and even the front panels look similar, differing only with the brand logo and button layout at the top, the Versa H15 even has a very Fractal Focus-series look to it. I wonder if this case is a rebranded Fractal Design, rebranded Thermaltake or made by another 3rd party manufacturer and there's a possibility that more brands of these cheap cases exist..
