Never would I have predicted this. Unless of course I had looked at his well report....ouch! But, I still think we made the best of it.
This pond site was not good to begin with. It's more or less on the hilltop, but with some creative sloping I think it'll work fine. The biggest challenge of course was the sand bottom. When it was all said and done, I smeared clay all around to heal off the sand, and I believe I got it. If there is a leak, it will be small and few, and will be able to address it with spot treatments of more clay. We won't know until we get some rain to test it.
