Building a terracotta stove and chimney-wood stove for heating the house.
I demolished the old terracotta stove and chimney and built another in the same place.
In this video, there are some images of the moment of demolition and some video sequences with important steps in costing a terracotta stove.
This stove has 7 smokes with 4 caps that allow them to clean them (the recommendation is to make this cleaning every 2 years). You can also see the construction of the bear and the chimney. The recommendation is that the chimney is built as close to the base of the roof to be as much as possible in the bridge and thus prosthesized by the condensation that is created in winter. (This chimney was built at the base of the house instead of the former chimney to avoid making changes in the roof of the house). The chimney should come out at least the height of the roof and the area around it is cleaned of obstacles, otherwise, the stove does not pull for the chimney does not allow the air to circulate properly.
Avoid using green wood because the humidity in combination with smoke means gudron deposit (which means the death of the stove). If the wood is dried then the tar is not deposited and soot (ash) will be found.
A well -maintained stove can give an optimal yield for decades.
I also made a sketch of this stove from which you can realize the operating principle of the stove.
From the video you can figure out which steps are to be followed.
The terracotta is from Romceram (Romanian factory) - I understood that it is a good terracotta.
