Very nice! I was watching the video and was wondering what software you were using (didn't have sound on, you might have said it at some point). But then I saw OMV, yeah baby! :)

Yeah I built me a NAS out of spare parts and ended up only buying a case, it was also an itx build but big enough for 4 drives. I decided to scrap the idea as im the only one the uses it and I don't care to stream media from it, I just bough a dual HDD docking station and use 2 of the bigger drives I have and shared them over the network, I can also access it from my phone, my PC is on probably 95% of the time so its not a big issue and Im not keeping important things on it. It was fun, just not practical for my needs. Good video, I would just hate that case, its entirely too small for the mountain of drives I have laying around lmao.

you said the case takes two 2.5 drives or one 3.5 drive. how come you installed 4 hard drives into it? and I am sure the 5tb and 3tb are 15mm height drives.

Case is officially designed to hold either two 2.5" drives or one 3.5" drive. However, 2.5", that are larger or equal to 3tb interferes with the cooling (for NH-L9i) since those drives tend to be thicker. The way I overcome this was to move the fan away from the hard drives and mount it in a weird way, sucking heat out of the case. Overall, I had three drives in it, 2x 5tb drives (thicker 2.5" drives) plus 1 m.2 drive (inserted into a 2.5" hdd adapter enclosure). the m2 drive was essentially double sided taped onto the drives and moved closer to the front of the casing. Since it's a m2 drive, I don't have to worry about stuff like vibrations messing up the drive. The slimmer 2.5" (

The board I am using is a: Asrock H61M-ITX - so I can't even attach more than 3 drives to the board (sata port limitation) without a pci-e sata port expander.
