In this scrap wood project, I'll show how I made a beautiful wooden mallet from scratch. I’ve got some scrap oak from my grandfather’s workshop and ash offcuts from a friend’s project I helped cut up. The oak will fit perfectly for the head and the ash will work great as the handle. I'll show you how I cleaned up the scrap wood on the table saw, then cut the pieces and glued it all up.
