Hi MoS, I have been watching your video's for months now and I don't recall writing to you in the posts. I just wanted to say what amazing tutorial films they are to learn from. The skills, hints and tips are wonderful and the results are superb. Maybe you should do a Bloopers Reel of your disasters after the videos to showcase what can go wrong and why. So a big thank you for your time in making the virals for us Subscriber's (or non-Suber's) to watch and to improve our own talents. You keep making them and I'll keep viewing them. Cheers, John.

Excellent-your last words were that you would work on it. When you were chalk weathering the road I was expecting a bit of black in the center of the lanes. I figured you would go back with more detailing as you said you would work on it (looking for the MarkLin standard!) Would like to see the finished product.

As acrylic primer for my resin or brass models as well as plastic and card & wood lasercut pieces, I always use the Vallejo Surface Primer, which comes in a variety of colors. You can either apply it with an airbrush or a brush (in which case I mix it 50/50 with model Color paint for more consistency as the Surface Primer is diluted for airbrush application. Let dry at least 24 to 48 hours before painting with any other acrylic or solvent based color. To obtain a sharp image for the subject as well as the backdrop, there several solutions. The first one would be to work with the smallest aperture available (ideally close the lense to the maximum). You'll need to work using a camera stand due to the very long pause for this kind of picture. The other solution would be to take a picture of the backdrop without the subject, then add the subject (diorama) to the perfect distance and angle from the lense and use a green or blue screen backdrop and later on merge the pictures by photo editing it. The best result will always be obtained with camera lenses that allow to get the smallest aperture possible and taking the picture outside at low shutter speed (thus with a long expostion time).

I recently watched your video on Marklin M-track. I have enough Marklin C-track I purchased to make an oval; and modified to two rail operations by cutting the running rails so that each rail was isolated. My problem is that my two locomotives are two rail H0 Australian AR Kit so I have to have two tracks to be able to run them. I would like to expand my tracks to have some turnouts when I set it on the dinning room table; but I am not prepared to modify Marklin C-track turnouts so I thought that I might use Marklin-Trix C-track expansion set and replace the oval with some Trix C-track. I wondered if you ever thought of making some video tutorials on this subject of using the Marklin's Trix tracks like you have done with Marklin system. I some hope to own a few marklin locomotives; but now know if I ever build a layout it will be an 0e gauge.

As always, great video. What kind of turpentine do you use?

The diorama came out nice. The truck looked very good. Maybe do the pictures with the overlapping technique with the computer. Focus on the background houses first then take several pictures focused on different places as you move backwards to the foreground. There is an photographic program you can use to overlap/overlay the pictures. I'm subscribed to a channel called TSG Multimedia. He explained how to do this with outside diorama photography in a video not too long ago. Within the last month or two. Maybe that would help you out. Check it out. 👍

Well I must say that was very cool ! Here in the USA we use spray primer for cars we get it at the auto parts store . If I remember correctly you guys have to go to the dealer to get you auto parts . I think the direction arrows in you country are very artistic here in the states they are plain and boring . Some where in the sixties we lost the decorations on the light poles and roads they just put plain things up & that's it not made to last anymore . I guess that's why we go crazy on our train layouts
