Very nice. Initially I sometimes was like "mäh .. that ork face could be a bit more detailed " .. but when you hold the figurine in your fingers you realize how flipping tiny these heads are .. so well done!

Thanks! Yeah, the Middle Earth minis are quite small when you have them in hand. It's easy to forget that they are on 25mm bases when you only see pictures of them.

I have that recollection, too, at least from the original edition 20+ years ago. Haven't read through the entire updated rules manual yet, but a quick flick-through tells me that many of the core mechanics seem to be the same.

Obligatory note about wearing a dust mask and vacuuming up your work area when filing this much resin, despite assurances that it's non-toxic. Lovely job on these: modding minis to prevent the horror of even two identical models is what slows my own output to a dribble, so it's inspiring to see someone blasting through this many monoposes with such purposeful attention to detail and organisation.

Awesome, awesome work! I’m also returning to Middle Earth, and though I’ve been eyeing Angmar (and the gorgeous new Witch-King), I couldn’t help but fall in love with the Gundabad orc aesthetic.
