Built the same model years ago... I added Ruf wheels, lowered it, did the euro lights (Orange blinkers in rear and side marker lights) Customized the rear exhaust so there were two out the back one on each corner. No Plates as they were not in scale. It was black with a nice beige/black interior. Sold it to my Dentist!

Really beautiful work on this! Given that this isn’t their Enthusiast series kit, it just goes to show how much some extra time spent on the details can really wake up a more basic kit. Great stance, great wheel & tire choice, outstanding work.

I think you mounted the tires wrong. The profile is pointing in the wrong direction. At: 25:19 you can also see that the profiles of the front tyres point into different directions.
@ModelCarMods
3 жыл бұрын
You're right, that's the problem of unidirectional tires that i used. These tires have outsides marked on tires, so one of the tire has to be flipped in order to keep the tire outsides on outside of the fenders.

Keith 👍👍
I know nothing about model cars so forgive my ignorance with what I'm about to say. It seems to me that in 2021 that these model cars should have working headlights, a steering wheel that works, and doors that open and close. Not a full mini replica of the real thing but a bit closer to the real thing than the model kits we see. Am I wrong? What you did to the sunroof was amazing though!

The penny weights.. I get it. I have no business qualifying that work for I am not qualified to do the work. So being critical from the recliner and simply just running my mouth. I am an American after all. Melt those pennies down and form a mold that may fit into the bumpers. Or a roll cage.. If I didn't see the build, I would never know they were there.. Anyway, that is my 2 cents. Pun intended. Beautiful work none the less! Imma work on this booger over here. Gotta 4 part series I will post later on when I'm finished. I know my place.
