There is so much confusion and tussle among politicians that businessmen cannot say anything against establishment, the real culprits behind all these issues.

Main issue of this country is that whoever wants to do something constructive for this nation gets so much pressure and anxiety from the govt that that very person ends up doing his own business i.e, minding his own business.

Great job Muzamil for trying your level best to stay attentive during the interview (not a podcast). “Mmm”, “mhmm”, a short smirk were the only challenging agreements that kept the conversation going. Almost an hour and a half, and no real quality information regarding the title “Building Low Cost Housing In Karachi”. All I have heard was, he went to Beacon House, was a CEO, his brother went to Kings College and is a Hafiz (MashAllah), the trips he makes every weekend to the flood prone areas, what issues we have as a country, need the right person for the job, etc. What I didn’t hear any productive conversation regarding the title or having any concrete solutions to all the problems we already know about. Even though his aspirations aren’t towards politics, it surely sounded like a pitch towards one. Oh by the way, did I forget to mention what a wonderful job Muzamil and your team does? Amazing contributions for the Pakistani generations to come and see what we had back then! Keep up the great work, really inspiring to see this content for us here in Canada.

Huge respect for this guy..but I humbly wana correct this false notion of price comparison of fuel n stuff which unfortunately every layman n even media do. An average person (even labour) in UK can earn sth £100-£125 a day with 8-10 hrs shift. Skilled worker earns way more then this figure a day..so he/she is able(hardly) to afford £1.90/ltr of fuel. In comparison how many labour class can earn Rs. 25000 a day...NONE!!!. An average day earnings is hardly Rs. 1000 for working class. So you cant compare n argue the two earnings n spending! Things r very hard even in west atm..every one knows hw quickly UK PMs r changing. Life is very very hard here as well.

Very recently I went to Antalya, Turkey and after seeing the place called Lara Beach for a couple of days I had the same thought why we can't build all this in Karachi where we have beautiful beaches and it's a huge opportunity for tourism which unfortunately nobody is looking at.

Very right. We are moving towards food problems. Property developers are eating the under-cultivation lands at phenomenal speed. They have pumped the prices to the sky. And everybody is in a fix. For example, I want to grow some to the top producing walnuts (Chandler) in Hazara Division, but unable to purchase the land due to this price blast. Look Pakistan was net exporter of walnuts a few years back. But now we are importing it. And I am making / thinking plans only... unable to make way forward...and I understand this land price pumping is responsible. We will have to switch from land eating to the production from land. This is the only way to survive. Nobody is willing to give us anything in free.

I listened to this podcast, and want to rectify that every airline in the world gives free tickets to their retired employees, but these airlines including PIA only waive off fare, but employees do pay tax. And these tickets are on standby. They are only allowed to fly if there are any vacant seats left or else they’re denied to get boarded. Also I wish you knew the amount of pension, PIA gives to its employees. It’s so low. With due respect I’d say, the guest was being extra defensive, while blaming every other stakeholders. Muzammil had to bring him back to topic multiple times when he would just start to consistently blame every other government.

Pakistan 🇵🇰 needs new Luxury developments and High rise districts. People of Pakistan own over $30 Billion dollars worth of real estate in 🇦🇪 United Arab Emirates. Pakistan 🇵🇰 is losing tens of billions of dollars worth of investments because there's not enough luxury societies and shopping districts compared to other countries of this size.
