Okay, you've made a subscriber out of me. I like how you went through everything including your pricing and reasoning. Thank you, sir, and I learned some things about filming for my channel. I appreciate it and your time.

Great job Dave, I wish I was less intimidated about making videos. i think it's the setup and tracking that puts me off. If I could get that down I would have done something on the items I built this week. They are not exactly small items with fast turnover but I enjoyed building them. As follows, all patio furniture using 2x4's : 8ft bench , 6ft bench with built in cooler, coffee table, end table and wide comfortable chair,. Next on the list is a full size dining table for patio. Sell them as a complete package or individually.

That's amazing John! Re. videos, just film it and deal with the other stuff after, or just film small overviews less than 60 seconds for viewer ideas and post them as shorts

Cedar pickets at my local hardware store: $3.19. Maple, Walnut, Oak: a different story. I'll trade you! Nice work.

Thanks very much for watching. I wish that cedar cost that where I am, but some of the other words are also cheaper so I guess it's a trade-off LOL

Love these suggestions - I have been making the planters like yours and been doing ok with that - my area is repressed financially for sure but still selling some.

Thanks for watching! There absolutely is, I am hoping soon to redo my table with a solid hardwood top as opposed to plywood which is what it is now 😁

$9 for 1 cedar picket? Wow. I pay $2.99 USD per picket in Nebraska. I would have thought in Canada it would be cheaper or at least similar. Wow.

I know right?! Many of the wood prices here are insane, especially considering we have a ton of cedar. Thanks for watching!

I find that it is difficult to find good wood working vids like yours with good ideas. I think good ideas with good attitude and personality of the presenter/wood worker is important for the viewer like me. I am 68.5 years old and enjoy watching people with a good idea of what people like to see. I make end grain cuttung boards and a bit of laser work on other products. I think you are going to be good to watch and listen too and thats why I have subscribed here. thanks for your enjoyable video here and I do wish you all the best with your video and wood work journey.

Good video. Make sure your items are level though. So much wobble on the planter, not a dig. Repetitive cut outs should ensure this unless you may be off on the cut. That machine in the background fixes all that though.
