I have seen reports that the builders found that Plan had he feed table incorrect by almost 4" ... your take

Great job. My only question is if that top sanding opening isn't too dangerous? I'm not sure it's that useful of a feature. For a moment I feared it would catch your hair when you leaned over to feed stock on the conveyor belt. In my case I'm sure I'd forget my workpieces (or tools, parts, etc) on top of the machine and have them ruined when I turned it on.

I have an under table sander that has a 30 inch drum, it doesn’t have the thickness function of this one. No the top opening isn’t at all dangerous. If you are concerned it is trivial to build a cover to go over it when you are not using it. If you watch the SN channel you will find that it’s the most useful function.

I noticed that you were feeding the test stock in the wrong direction over the drum, you have probably caught that but it would be good to pin a correction at the top of the comments and in the description. You haven’t posted any follow ups so I hope you’ve got it working for you.

Hi JM, thanks for watching and for commenting. Can you elaborate a bit more. This is all be a learning experience for me. So I'm probably doing a Bunch of stuff wrong. It's all done and working, I just haven't gotten the time do much with it. I had grand plans of course, but life gets in the way sometimes.

Thanks for posting this; very helpful. I've been thinking to buy the plans, but was curious if you think it would be doable without a cnc machine. I don't think he mentions needing one in the description, but I can't imagine how to cut the parts precisely enough without it.

Flow Reader Thanks for watching and commenting, yes I do think it would be possible to do it without a CNC machine you just have to measure very carefully and put all your lines on the boards and make sure they’re matching before you cut and it should work out. Thanks
