(SORRY for the frame rate near the end, did not notice until I already uploaded)
Although there is a Kickstarter for another "Lego" keyboard, this kit is in stock and very well priced ($60 barebone, $100 for complete kit). In this video I assemble this Lego based 64 key 60% gasket mounted mechanical keyboard.
Despite it not coming with bumpers/feet, as well as including one of the skinniest USB cables I've seen in some time, I was honestly pleasantly surprised by how well this kit felt and sounded during the sound test, though the spacebar will require some tuning.
Boyu, the keyboard's designer, donated a unit for r/BudgetKeebs one year anniversary and also sent me one as a gift. I made the video because I must say, I was interested in this different build experience, especially considering how much I loved Lego as a kid.
I plan to come back and modify this kit to tweak the best sound out of it. And though light, I must say, I'm liking the S2 Switches included.
