Yup, doors look sick! 😎. This little truck would be an absolute BEAST in all black. I get the look your going for and it too is very cool. But seeing those door jams in that gloss black. That is sick! Love the direction this is heading. 👍🏼

Toyota Hilux! I miss it so much, my uncle used to drive it and he used to let me ride in the passenger seat and take me to many places. That was almost 50 years ago. I also remember that the face on the grille looked like a Japanese devil's face and I was very scared. I look forward to more videos in the future. From Japan.

Those sunvisors need some tying in say three spots in the centre as the weight of the material you just added will cause the bottom of the visor to sag and separate becoming like a pillow

Beautiful job. Loved seeing the cleaning solution on the glass with the razor. I own a window cleaning company and that's how you do it. If the razor dislodges any debris that can scratch the glass, the solution will help carry it off the blade. If dry it will stay on the blade and potentially scratch the glass. When it happens you'll know. Sounds like nails on a chalkboard. Recommend you blade in sections, one direction, one line only. Allows you to stop the moment you hear a scratch. Running the blade back and forth willy nilly is asking for trouble. Anyway, again looks great.

I'm inspired. I owned an 81 4x4 Toyota grampa had it for 12 years my dad for 9 years an i owned it 3 years gave it back to my dad due to financial reasons an he sold it in 1 hr for $1000 at a gas station. I currently own a 88 had it about 6-7years. This weekend just picked up a 75 Toyota Hilux for $400. It's far from a project. Just binge watch the whole build. I would have to thank you for blue print. Can't wait to see the end result.

Love your videos and builds. The only thing I don’t love about this build is.... the racing seats. Not to knock what you’ve done, your build, your preference. And great work! I just think a reupholstered classic bench seat would have looked a little...more traditional I guess.

Looks great--nice door panels from scratch. Re: the visors, one thing I remember from my junior high sewing class back in 198-oh my god am I getting old... Sew it inside out except for one side. The adhesive will be a little tougher, but you only have one "exterior seam" (whatever the name for that is).

Tuffed diamond....HELLO 80's! =) Looking good dude! The only thing I would change it adding a bit of white piping trim to the edge of the door cards & headliner to add a bit of contrast/separation. (Think of it as edge banding but for fabric.) With lots of black, which looks killer btw, some of the details can get lost without something to break it up just a bit. Just a thought! If you wanted to try it out cut a piece of white paper 1/4" wide and the length of one side. Then tuck it into a seam where the panels meet.

Love the truck. Still think you should have gone with the cherry red or bronze for the inside of the truck. The colors you used on the suspension parts then the black diamond overlay would be popping out
