I am an absolute fan of this build ! It really follows what you started by swapping the 2.3 eco boost in your foxbody by showing new possibilities and a more modern take on drifting. I love S-chassis, JZs and all but drifting needs to evolve and by doing it this way, you are bringing a new crowd that up until now discarded drifting without even really knowing it. I can’t wait to see where you’ll take this build in the future

Hi mate,nice work great build and slick edit. I’ve your running the OEM controllers Inc the ABS unit there is a way to disable the braking stability aspect. Porsche has a traction control off button etc on the dash, but the system will always intervene in extreme yaw forces to do controlled corner braking that settles it back into shape - great for keeping the average owner from not looking a fool wrecked in the barriers. What you do is cut the provision of Yaw data to the ABS module, then it still gives you assisted braking but can’t run its loops to intervene. The Yaw sensor is mounted in front of your shifter, just after the ABS unit. Take its 12V power feed and bring up to a dash switch, meaning you can disable but restore any time. The Yaw is also used for some other systems, but you likely don’t have those - PDK shifting, PASM shock control. It will throw up a dashboard error ‘PSM fault’
@chelseadenofa

I have removed all that via flashing and coding, and also mechanically. We also dont want assisted braking

I didnt know much about the 718 platform. I honestly thought it was rear mounted behind the transaxle and hanging behind the rear wheels like the 911s. You kept saying mid engine so i went and done some research and the basis behind the 718 is a 4 cyl, mid engine (engine behind the seat and before the transaxle) 2 seat car made to be fast. Didnt know that. Its a beautiful car and i honestly like the looks better compared to the 911s and other porsches with huge asses. lol great pick for your next drift car, its not of the norm at all and its freaking gorgeous. Needs some dark bronze wheels. I think it would look good with the silverish grey color.
