Kenji, I have to start by stating how incredibly accurate the details are on this. You don't need me to tell you how much effort that took, but it is visible in every section. This is truly spectacular. I acquired the #43 Mike Baldwin superbike from American Honda in the mid 1980s, and had it for about 20 years. Eventually, American Honda asked if I'd let it come back home, and the Collection Hall in Japan bought it from me in the end. I also acquired many spare parts, built friendships with many of the Team Honda mechanics from that period, and have a pretty deep knowledge of these machines. What you have done here is magnificent. That word is not good enough, but it's the best I have to offer.

I've been staring at your comment for about 30 minutes. Unbelievable! I'm so happy. I made it just because I love it, but I'm delighted to receive such appreciation. Thank you so much.
You have done a beautiful job on this model, it looks like you could start the engine, and ride it. This must have taken months of dedicated work, thank you for sharing this masterpiece of a model. Excellent work.

I have watched many of your previous projects and I have always been amazed by your skills. But somehow this is different. Achieving such detail using plastic plates and rods and metal, the precision of fit and finish, and the accuracy to the original is stunning. You are a true teacher and an inspiration to us all. Thank you for that

@@kenji-plasticmodels I used to have a bunch of pictures of the 1972 Kawasaki Z1 that Pops Yoshimura built for Eddie Lawson to race in AFM Open Production here in California. In 1976 the AMA copied that formula to create AMA Superbike. His bike was so cool because it was obviously built by one guy in a small shop with a limited budget and no attention paid to cosmetics! They hauled it to the races in a well used Ford Econoline that had been an ambulance.

I don't have the right words but I'll go with a choice few. Absolutely Amazing. If you are able to answer a few questions if you have time one day. 1 Are you self taught these skills? Also would you if paid do a model on commission? I am gobsmacked at the detail level and your skillset. Thank you for sharing these builds. All the way from New Zealand 👍

Have you ever consider using 3d printer so you wouldn't have to scratch build everything?
@kenji-plasticmodels

I made this a long time ago and enjoyed it by hand. Now that 3D printers have become commonplace and prices have come down, I would like to have one someday.
