I'm really developing a "hate/love" relationship with this site. I love how this guy explains everything and demonstrates how these kits go together. I hate that I am now addicted to building Tamiya tank kits...I build ships normally...but these kits are just fun to build...and it's starting to get expensive.

Andy, one feature I liked about the easy 8 WWII kit is that the idle wheel has grooves so you can adjust the tension of the track like in the real tank by rotating it and once you reach the effect you like you glue it in that position. Like always, great video!

Great help as always. I just finished this kit in the C Company version and found it to be great Tamiya kit. One thing; in past I always paint and add wheels last with the tracks. this time I did your version in the video and added all wheels for painting entire model. That gave me a problem with getting the tracks on over the two top roller wheels. Had to bend the wheels slightly (one broke off) to get the tracks on. Turned out fine but in future I think I will add wheels separately .

Great kit. I love your videos Andy, I learn something new with every one I watch. I worked in one of the original Squadron Shops, in Elmhurst, Illinois about 45 years ago. I actually met Shep Paine, that was a thrill. I have one question for you. I was taught to wash the parts first, to get the mold release oil off, for a better painting surface, but I've never heard you mention it. Is that true or am I just wasting my time? Thanks again for the videos!

Great kit - nice updated variant of the 'Easy Eight'. Really like this decal option, the canvas mantlet, new tracks- all good stuff. Would love to see this on a diorama/base in Korean War setting with or without the M40, maybe use the Gaz jeep and replicate the box cover?

Andy Im new to model builds so this may sound stupid, but for builds after applying paint from an airbrush would you spray it with an fixative spray and would you need to apply a dull coat to the models? sorry if this sounded stupid
