I have been praying for Buju's safe return to Jamaica from day one of his sentence. My heart is full of joy for Buju and his loved ones and for Jamaica for giving us this icon, one of many some of whom has gone before. I knew Buju was loved by many but this is a real revelation to myself. Young and old hold him in high esteem. We now see that he is a true warrior who would be willing to die for his beliefs. May it please God that Buju continues to live a long and fruitful life so we can continue to hear and enjoy his music.

This brought back so many awful memories of me watching what they were doing to him and asking, "Buju, why yuh never just leave dem country from dem start fight u?" I felt for him real bad coz I knew it wasn't just the drug thing, they had it out for him differently. That community needs to understand that not everyone will agree with them and they need to just accept it. Just like we not all Christians or Muslims or whatever in this world, or we're not all fans of certain artistes, not all will agree to everything, and what they were trying to force on Buju was just too much for him. We won't all agree to the same things, we all have minds of our own. All we need to be is respectful of each other and he done apologized to them but they just had to say all or nothing. No, you cannot force your way of life on another person or force them to promote your cause. All we can do is respect each other as people. We can disagree and not fight, but I realize the world is full of people trying to force their agenda down people's throats, no matter what that agenda is, and you better go all the way with them or it's problems. Does anyone get me? I hope so. Anyway, I'm so happy he's free. Can't keep a good man down. "Said I had a close one yesterday. Jah put an angel over me. Be strong, hold a firm meditation. One day things must get better. Don't you go down, keep your head above the waters. One day things must get better." - Buju Banton/Gargamel❤

Those gay rights activist were asking for too much. The foreign countries are always pushing their beliefs with the LGBQT community on people. You can't have someone change the views of their religion and beliefs just because it is not in alignment with yours. The man already apologized and said he will not make any more songs portraying hatred, what more could you possibly want?. Talking about organizing meetings in jamaica for gays and all that crap like the man is a spokesperson, he's an artiste!

Buju Banton has always been in a league of his own. He has always stepped with greatness. We don't have to hate the LGBT but also we will never agree with their way of life. Buju fought the good fight on the biggest levels... We have been fighting the good fight along side Buju only to see the new generation in Jamaica get swept away by the same thing that our life style did not identify with.... Long live Buju....

This was great but very emotional. Welcome home Buju Banton, glad that your in good health and strength. Though you’re a free man be very careful as the very same group of ppl who targeted you for your music are watching and they will keep going as they did with Kevin Hart. Know that a lot has changed and the world is not the same. I look forward to many more new music and I can’t wait for your next show. You are a true icon. ✊🏾✊🏾
