I live in Durham and just love the city. I roam the streets and make photos of this great area. Welcome to The Bull City. I haven't been to many minor league stadiums but DBAP is the most beautiful one I have seen. Even the original stadium has a charm to it. Thanks for showcasing Durham! As usual you did an amazing job showing filming locations. Cheers.

So happy Adam traveled to Durham ...love the town & movie. Beautiful Duke University campus. Sitting on a hot summer day in that stadium with giant ceiling fans spinning overhead and Durham Bulls winning is a priceless experience. Wish everybody could watch 4th of July fireworks from those stadium seats. Adam nailed it with this vlog!! Knocked it out of the park!!!

This is amazing, to see the location of a movie I loved since I was 11 when in 1988 cames out. But My love and support for a baseball team go to the Boston Red Sox and the amazing Fenway Ball Park, with its Green Monster still inside and the museum.... Thanks to Stephen King who made me a big fan of the Sox. Cheers from Italy!

I waited until I got home from work today to watch this. (I normally watch your videos when I wake up.) The reason being is that is my hometown and I haven't been able to come home since my momma passed away in 2020. I didn't want to ball my eyes out before work. LOL She loved to go with my me, my sister, and our children to watch the Durham Bulls play. My nephew actually got to play in the old stadium when he was playing high school baseball. It is such a cool experience when the Durham Bulls play at the old field as well. I just want to thank you for this. It means so much.

I live in Wilson NC and the rainout scene was filmed in Wilson at Fleming Stadium. I was told they did the filming on a Friday night when the two biggest rivals in the county played each other in football. Supposedly the reason was sports minded people would be at that game and less likely to ride by the stadium.

I grew up going to the Durham Bulls at the old stadium. I remember when they did the movie and the movie production company painted the inside of the stadium (which was blue) green for the movie. Then they repainted it blue when they were done filming. It never made sense to me because the team colors were always blue, even in the movie. Why paint it green? But I enjoy seeing all the places we used to go around the stadium when watching the movie. Since I moved to Texas, I’ve still never been to a game in the “new” stadium.

27:10 He appears to be the catcher. My one shot at movie stardom, was going to the casting of the Burt Reynolds TV movie, "The Man From Left Field". I didn't make it, but my Little League baseball team, and all the baseball teams from the Jupiter Tequesta Athletic Association (JTAA), got to be extras. It was basically a day long practice, but sometimes we had to be quiet. But hey! I got a day off from 7th grade. 😅

Adam, Now we're talking my kind of talk. I have to admit I don't know one end of a baseball from the other end. And I've never watched a game but "Bull Durham" is my home team. Annie, taught me a lot of things, right down to breathing thru my eyelids. Like Nuke, I'm going to bring the heat and fire one in there. Just remember what a good friend told Nuke and me, "Sometimes it rains." Now I'm off to light some candles to the Church of Baseball and read some Walt Whitman and bat out the season. I wonder why Nuke did'nt keep his first nick name " Pokie" and does he still wear a garter belt like the rest of us do? Thanks for this. Cheers, Chris Perry.
