I could’ve really used that car right now. Been out of work for 2 years due to medical issues. I swear everything I owned with to crap after I got home from the third surgery, they had just completely removed all of my hip prosthetics, like should’ve happened after the first infection. I wasn’t home 2 days and we had a heatwave. Power went down on one leg. The way it went out and came back online so fast, it toasted the compressor on my house AC unit and our back refrigerator. My wife rolled her beautiful Tahoe (no injuries) my beautiful truck’s emissions system decided to loose its mind and go into limp mode. I don’t have the $2000 to repair it at this time. My wonderful neighbors all have kicked in and helped us out one way or another. I’ve had to sell my wonderful little tractor, dump trailer, my beautiful little Jeep, a 95 Dodge Dakota truck I used as my daily driver n work truck. Sold my portable engine driven welder and trailer, three generators, and a life saving commercial chipper shredder I’d spent two years repairing, my bbq trailer I used to bbq for friends kids birthday parties and stuff, along with so many other things I’d spent my life accumulating as old junk no one wanted anymore except me! I knew it all had potential for working still n I’d fixed all. My position at my former employer was terminated due to them having to do a major restructuring, and my wife was let go from Tractor Supply as an assistant manager due to all the time she had to take off to do my IV antibiotics. This was after they repeatedly told her to not worry about work, to take all the time needed to care for me. (I was on IV antibiotics 2 times, and after the 5th failed attempt to put my hip back in, she’d gone to let them know she could be back on the full time schedule, they canned her!! So many other things have just gone in the tank. My surgeon I started with abruptly left the group he was in. I am certain that was the LORD looking out for me. I’d lost all confidence in him! But it has put me out to October before they can try to get my hip back in. It’s amazing that I lost me LE career over this 10 years ago, and it’s still messing with me!! I left so much out of this it’s almost unbelievable! Summer is rapidly approaching again. Gotta love our Central Valley’s multi month long 100 + degree days. Gotta love’m. I’m not even gonna go into all the teeth I lost due to the lengthy antibiotics, as well as the entire inside of my mouth is basically raw, with lots of lovely canker sores on and under my tongue. My GP swears I have oral cancer, and from just looking at my bottom lip, I’d agree. Had to ask my youngest daughter to drive me 4 hours north to a specialist for a biopsy, only to have him refuse to do it. Mainly because he doesn’t think it’s cancer. He believes it’s a symptom of malnutrition. I have lost 65-80 pounds, and between it being so painful to eat, and not having the right gut bacteria, I normally throw up every time I try to eat, I can see that, but come on! I know I’m being a crybaby, but seeing stuff like that car being demolished for publicity just irks me! All that being said, I know GOD hasn’t abandoned me, but I feel as if I’m being chastised and or humbled. Either way, I know I’ll be ok, no matter what, I’ll be ok. GOD great and he has blessed me so many times with such a great life. I know I’m blessed.
