Great video making it simpler for people who don't understand bullet journals. Thank you very much Mick!

Wow, that’s super organised. Maybe I should do that to get on top of my ADHD. But then I dread even thinking about things like car servicing and tire replacement. I don’t even want to think about them. You even wrote down the dreaded “B” word. It’d be cool if you do a video about how you go about learning your lines for opera. I want to improve my memory and that might be useful.

It’s great for ADHD and neurodivergent folk. Getting stuff out of my head and on to the page is a lifesaver.

Great video Mick. You know we are here for the private information of an acclaimed opera singer, right? In all seriousness thought, this video should be added to the list of essential videos for bujo basics.

Just found your channel today and I really enjoy your videos (new subscriber!) I found you from a 5 year video where you demonstrated how you bullet journaled in a Traveler's Notebook. Can I ask wehn, and why, you switched back to an A5 notebook?

Great to have you here. I switched back about 2 years ago, when I started re-implementing a 2 column set up on a few pages… or 4 across the spread. It just allowed me the extra space. I still keep my dailies in a travellers notebook… as it is more disposable and means I have to re-write those bigger projects etc less often.

I’ve started a journal back in December 23 as a way to cope with my aphasia and loss of speech. I keep seeing many recommended styles(Bulletin, Daily pages, Task managing, etc). I need to have a simple way of getting my thoughts down, tracking things i want to do. Do you have some recommendation that may help me organise my life simply without many different journals.

You may benefit from using a brain dump, which is a page dedicated to writing down whatever is on your mind. Task, ideas, whatever. Then you can look back at the brain dump whenever you think is pertinent and move it to an appropriate page like a todo-list, a weekly, a monthly, or a journal entry depending on the aim. It may or may not fit your workflow, it used to work for me and doesn't anymore but I had a time where I would throw everything on the brain dump while things were hectic, and take the time later to sort it all into neat pages.

I apologize but I can't seem to pick up on what you're saying the name brand of your black journal you've been using? The one with the snake on it? Would you please reply with it's name? Thank you! That really is a simple bullet method you use. Great video!

The one with the snake is an Archer and Olive notebook.

I have a question on the Budget section. Your plan provides for only one entry per day. I have 2 payments due say on the 2nd of a month, how to write the second entry?

I would separate them with a comma. Eg: Rent $$$, Insurance $$$
