Lots of ways to achieve the same result. But i like this one alot. No water and mud and hollow spots under concrete.

Thank you for your input. It seems that you have done this type of work before. Perfect observation. Rocks, roots, or debris would not be a problem either.

Good investment if you have a business but not for a single home resident who will use it only once to install their irrigation or garden lights by themself.

No, a simple pvc pipe connected to a pressure washer or garden house will work and is a hell of a lot cheaper

What application would that be effective? Did you consider undermining the driveway or sidewalk with water? Roots and rocks, did you consider? Even if someone used a power washer I bet it would be limited where you can use it and I promise, 'simple' does not translate to best, easiest, fastest, safest results.

@DJS-mx8oz you should research it. I mentioned a method in use by pros. I didn't say create a cave from water. A pressurized water jet is what 1/4 in Wide?

It lessens the compaction in the soil. Also, you lose some soil. After the sidewalk/driveway crack... the homeowners are going to sue your butt off. I know I would. The method in the video avoids all that. @@gregs2143

I dont know why I reply to these absurd claims. But, for the sake of education here we go. The steel for the impact cap alone is $ 38.00 per pound. The machining, heat treating and tempering process (which is quite involved and complicated) also cost a bit more. The shafts, compression points, push points and push caps are each made of different types of steel and each has its own unique heat treating and tempering process tried and tested over 30 years. Dont forget your time to order each type of steel, program the CNC's and other unique machines needed to make the parts etc...... You might be able to make a replica from Play Dough for that much but, it might not perform to well.

Another option is a borit tool, it costs about $350. You'll need a water house connected to your hollow pipes and a drill to make it work. Replaceable tips are included. It wont work on rock but it will on most soils. Don't work hard, work smart.

If you are planning to do this for a living, just buy a real missile and rent a compressor. Or buy a borit tool and a drill.

They are expensive and we respect your opinion. On the other hand, they are very difficult to make, they are made in AMERICA 100% and they do the job they are intended to do., which is also a very difficult job. we've been here over 30 years and sell them as fast as we can make them ( which is an extensive process) to customers who have nothing but good to say about the tool.
