The mid-credit scene, where we see that Lemon survived and is responsible for the prince’s death, was an enjoyable moment to witness. Also, I need a hero in Japanese was a song that I did not expect to hear at the movie's climax, and now I want to see that scene to listen to that beautiful song.

Bullet Train was a pretty wholesome and entertaining film. It goes on for a bit long as I don't think we need a backstory for like every character, but other than that there's good action and humor and makes for a very good time at the cinema. Pitt is his usual cool self and I like the rest of the cast too.

The backstory was pretty great since it made the audience get closer to these characters, and was also really funny since they died immediately. Also, it made the fake death of Lemon and the actual death of Tangerine legitimately sad.

I know this comment is late but if you’re curious Thomas the Tank Engine was based on the Railway Series books written by Reverend Wilbert Awdry. Heck, Thomas wasn’t even the first character, he show up in the second book which was published in 1946. Most of what happens in the books is based on real life events with engines based on real life locomotives. Thomas for example is based on an LB&SCR E2 class which were one of the worst steam tank engines since they had small water tankers and coal bunkers etc. There are 42 books in total (26 were written by Wilbert himself and 16 were written by his son Christopher Awdry). Later on, there was the television series adapted by Britt Allcroft and David Mitton in 1984 which started using models in a set. There’s the classic series (Seasons 1-7), Hit Era (Season 8 to 12), Nitrogen/Sharon Miller Era (Season 13 to 16), Brenner Era (Season 17 to 21) and BWBA (Season 22 to 24). They stopped using the models and went into CGI by 2009 with series 12 (Although it was more of a mix of cgi and live action) and then started fully cgi in the next season and a movie called Hero of the Rails. Thomas had his first movie which was Magic Railroad however it was more of a convoluted mess that it didn’t do so well and it’s consider non canon to many. But there’s many good Thomas movies I recommend watching like The Adventure Begins (It’s more of a retelling of the first two books: The Three Railway Engines and Thomas the Tank Engine), Sodor’s Legend of the Lost Treasure or Blue Mountain Mystery. The show went through many ups and downs especially when All Engines Go came out in 2D animation. There’s even a railway in Wales called the Talyllyn Railway which was the inspiration of the Skarloey Railway and its narrow gauge engines. You can watch many analyze videos or videos about engine characters from the Unlucky Tug, Thomas Theorist, Usual Bloke Luke. There’s many stories created by the fans and even stories that were never adapted into the show yet like Super Rescue or do retelling something like how Trampy did. You can still find them in KZitem

I thoroughly enjoyed Bullet Train and have seen it multiple times. It has everything: recognizable stars, action, humor, spy assassins on a fast moving train. The third act White Death showdown was less interesting than the preceding acts, but such is the case for most blockbuster films. It should have been a bigger hit than it was. Feels underrated like Edge of Tomorrow or Snowpiercer. All three films did well in that they made back their budgets, but none received a sequel.

I think they messed up the graphic title in the movie for the flashback to the wedding massacre. It says 26 years but the dude doesn't look like he's 26 years old. Neither does the actual female assassin. It's more like 26 hours earlier because the guy still had the blood on his jacket. Edit: it was correctly pointed out to me that I was incorrect. #Memoryfail

The sad thing is that we don''t seem to see Hiroyuki Sanada as Hanzo Hasashi or Joe Taslim as the villain Noob Saibot or Bi Han''s brother Kuai Liang. I myself would have hoped for that, just as i would have hoped that Max Huang would also have been seen in the future in the role of Kung Lao in the sequel to the new Mortal Kombat movie, which is most obviously still coming, at least i know that the new Mortal Kombat game is coming soon if it hasn''t come already? 🤔🤔⚔⚔
