The jet packs can be moved so you can make the tub exactly what you want. They are not meant to be moved everytime you use the tub. It's nice to have versatility.

I have a bullfrog A6. I agree with the review and points made regarding moving the jetpacks. While easy enough to do, it's not as easy as simply sliding over to the seat with the preferable jetpack, right? The height of the seats make little difference as you simply slide up and down on the seat anyway. However, I disagree with the water flow commentary. When the flow adjustment is open on some of the jetpacks, it literally pushes me off the seat and I have to prop my foot up to get the leverage necessary to stay on the seat. Plenty of water for me. Thanks for the review.

It's nice to know I can enjoy all different types of massage all while staying in a seat thats deep enough and fits me that's my opinion after doing a alot of research on all the major brands and hearing alot of you guys (youtubers) review thanks

Not to take away from the review (which is good), but the changeable jetpacks are one of the main selling points for most people. You had mentioned that after a long day at work you're not going to want to go through the trouble of switching anything around, you just want to jump in. Which I get, but at the same time, I looked at your video and you started the switch at 3:15 and the two packs were completely changed by 4:05. So 50 seconds, and that's with you taking your time talking about things as you go. Not knocking you for your speed, just saying it could definitely be done faster if you weren't trying to make a video ;-). Also, I don't think the idea is to switch them out every time you get in, I think it's a matter of getting the jets you like and then putting them into the seat that fits you best. You did make a comment about sizing people up when they come over, and I think you're right, no one is going to do that. However, I think the sizing concept is more about the owner and not about the guests. As a taller person, I'm going to fit in one maybe two of the seats comfortably. I want to make sure that my specific seat has the jets I want. With a normal hot tub, you're stuck with the jets it comes with at each location and there's no changing (ever). Also the idea of the large 2" inlet at each jetpack is to maximize flow rate and minimize pressure loss while allowing the pumps to run more efficiently. Most hot tubs have long narrow hoses going from the bottom of the tub to each individual jet. Think about drinking a soda through a straw. You can do it with minimal effort if the straw is only a few inches long (like a Bullfrog jetpack since the small tubing is only in the last few inches of the system). However if your narrow straw is now 3-4 ft long (like a normal hot tub tube), it's going to take a lot of power and suction to get that soda up through the straw. Having the larger tube as close as possible to the nozzles is a plus not a minus in my opinion.

The big appeal on the jet packs for me is way less plumbing, the jet packs aren’t cheap but I would rather spring a leak in the tub with one of the 80 jets than on the underside. And if you want to surprise your wife with something you buy a new different jet pack and see what they think

Good afternoon, there’s a lot of great brands including Bullfrog. Your decision should depend on what your buying the hot tub for. Are you buying it to just hang out in hot water? Are you looking for a glorified bath tub? Do you need it for hydrotherapy? Do you want it to last you 5, 10, 20 years? Your needs and wants should reflect what you purchase. I don’t think there’s a “best” hot tub shall we say

I got the Master spa 8.2 The spa shell and insulation looks awsome. The jets and pump and balboa pack are great. The diverter vales and water features are high quality. I am not a fan of the strong spa. But strong spa has a great base and skirt. All plastic and no wood to rot away and no bugs living in your pump area. The Master spa has wood everywhere some mdf flake board for the ozone. The floor pan sucks. The base looks like recycled milk jugs. Not to mention there is a zillion staples which are not galvanized and will rust away and stain my deck with rust stains. Also the staples will scratch my trex decking when sliding the deck into place. I am replacing the bottom milk jug shit with plexiglass. The pressure treated 2x4 for the skirt are not braced well and warped around the foot well area. The 2x4 are also held in place with staples that are not galvanized and are rusting and pulling out of the 2x4 b/c of the warping. No doubt the skirt will fail before the spa shell. The skirt walls are all plastic and cheap looking for a luxury spa. The 4 corners pieces are warped and poping out of the track. No water in spa yet. I will post back on performance. Which will probably be awsome!

Good morning, hot tubs do leak sometimes. I always suggest a professional technician as they know where to go normally. However, most leaks are in your motor compartment and usually aren't expensive to fix. Remember, it's really hard on a hot tub during the moving process and sometimes a tweak or two may need to done after delivery. Sorry you're going through this but the dealer should handle this quickly. Hope this helps!

My real story: I bought a Bullfrog A6L from Costco this August. The hot tub was found to leak the first week of use. I reported this on September 6 to the service and then it was replaced on October 27. The first time I filled the SECOND hot tub it started leaking, EVEN MORE apparently that I could literally hear the leaking. I immediately called the delivery people who just left and was only ~10 minutes away. So he and his team came back and found the problem. Later I was told it's not repairable at my location. A few days later I was told a THIRD one was ordered for me. The third Bullfrog A6L was sent to the dealer for testing around Thanksgiving. After Thanksgiving, when I called to check the status, the dealer told me that the THIRD one was leaking during the test. Three leaking hot tubs in a row for me. I am so frustrated with my experience. Just hope the return and refund process will be smooth.
