You can do it, no matter how far you’ve left. I went as far as removing my name from the records in 2020. I was recently rebaptized on April 20, 2024. You can do it, God is drawing inactives back in droves.

@@ProdigalSonMatt how did you do it. I sometimes feel lost but whenever I read the book of Mormon I feel the spirit and desire to return but still I need the strength to break through from what is holding me back.

Bullying is not a good thing that happens to anyone, but we need to understand that hating the church is not fair because the church is not at fault here, because the church teaches that bullying is not acceptable, but we need to know that when someone says that they hate the church or that person, know that no one is perfect, so as you choose to hate or angry it is a choice that you have made, so allowing anger or hate to control our lives, it doesn’t help our cause, remember the Savior went through all things and he overcame the world, even when HE was hang from the cross, HE asked HIS FATHER to forgive them that have done this to HIM for they know not what they do

Thank you Jayden for your testimony and holding on. Im sorry you experienced bullying and sadly from members. Ive experienced bullying at times and have had members hurt me as well when i was younger and as an adult. My mother and paternal grandmother were both converts. Also, i developed anxiety and depression 20 years ago beginning around the age of 30 after my first son died. My panic attacks were severe and I thought i was dying. Ive had the sever chest pains, the numbness in my left arm and chest and face, i've felt the disassciation feeling of feeling as if Im leaving my body, the extreme fear that is other worldly. You are not alone struggling with something only those who have had a panic attack can possibly understand besides the Savior. No one appreciates what a panic attack entails unless they've experienced them. I am certain the Lord suffered extreme panic attacks when in the garden suffering where he was left sore amazed. But his panic attacks were infintely more than man can suffer. He gets us, each of us. Keep up the good fight. You shine the Saviors light. Thanks again.

If we are brave enough to take a true inventory, we will find that many members leave because of the behavior of other members. It’s been standard to say “don’t be offended by other people”, and to somewhat enable the bullying and hateful actions of others. Perhaps now we can start saying “don’t be the reason someone feels unsafe and unloved within the Church.”

Give both messages. Everyone's a sinner, so don't let their bad behavior offend you too much. Also, everyone's a child of God, so treat everyone as He would have you treat them.

As hard as it is, the difficult experiences we have CAN help us. The painful things open our eyes to the sufferings of others. When we start seeing others and truly caring, we are more useful to the world. Just look at the good we can do. I love and appreciate those people that have been hurt, but open up their hearts and bring good to so many. Isn’t that Christlike? So, these awful experiences can expand our hearts and souls if we don’t turn bitter. Jesus Christ takes all of our ashes and replaces those with beauty. Thank you, Jayden. You’re making a difference.
