Singapore's race to have all vehicles running on cleaner energy by 2040 is clocking gains, with registrations for new zero-emission vehicles nearly tripling from last year. Zero-emission vehicles, including EVs and hybrids, account for more than one out of 10 new vehicle registrations so far in 2022. Meanwhile, the Land Transport Authority said it is looking to build a high-powered charging network for high-mileage drivers like taxis, commercial fleets and heavy goods.
