Treat the richest of the rich and people you think who are poor the same. You never know who is who. 5. If you buying something and you gotta check your acct to see if you can afford it....leave that ish there. I think you may have misunderstood the trajectory of the argument. There are no lost years. It is either you're making the most of the available opportunity or being crushed by the weight if the moment. The come up involves conspicuous wealth. That is a brand identifier. The mistake is losing sight of the end goal and growth opportunity. You do not get the rapid ascent of Jay without big pimping. Ultimately this conversation is about one particular example of how life can be lived. It masks economic meritocracy as a cover for exploitative relationship and rampant wealth inequality.

Great conversation. Regarding people wanting to display their wealth (i.e., ostentation). but did he **truly** get it out his system? true, he might not be blatantly screaming: "yeah i got 10 benzes", but he still lives lavishly in multi-million dollar penthouses, owns million-dollar yachts, wears 6-figure watches, has $1000 shoes that his rich neighbors still admire. in a way he's still always flexing, but he does it in a way that only his rich friends appreciate, so thats probably who he flexes for, not poor people. People in his echelon can look at him and tell he got on a Gucci suit without needing to see a logo, because they're around Gucci so much, they know the deal. If he truly got it out his system, he wouldn't need all this lavish shit at all & he'd save money on unnecessary stuff.

According to my experience, most people who wear expensive clothes and luxury items aren't really rich but very rich and wealthy people don't. Why ? Because rich people and people who understand money know that most luxury items aren't a good investment or make you more a target than anything else. Also if you're rich and famous you don't have to wear that look that rich because people already know you get it. Look at Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Steve Jobs R.I.P, Jeff Bezos and even guys like Michael Jordan, Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, and others.

But most of these white men don't come from countries that have rich minerals like diamond, silver and gold in them. They use force and slave labor to colonize the lands where they do have them to get paid. Fuck these wealthy people, MOST of them are slave drivers and nobody to look up to anyway. If you want to rock ice and Fendi do it, if you don't want to do it then don't. With all the money that he has Bill Gates needs a stylist! LOL

I am tired of these rapper blaming labels (owners) for not having money. I am also tired of rappers saying just go independent. Do you know how much it cost to make produce a album? Alot. The labels spend alot of money on artist. Artist are dumb they make millions of dollars and buy jewelry cars and houses that they can't afford them blame the label for robbing them . Let's be honest most artists by the third album are not popping anymore and they're not generating any money for the label any longer. So why would they pay you? Last everybody work for somebody and so they can work for themselves. To make your millions of dollars from the label and then create or buy your own business doesn't have to be music something else and now you are owner of your company. Think smart people stop listening to rapper or anyone else. If your working a 9-5 (for the man) don't just quit your job and try to start your own thing work for them stack your bread and invest it that way you can be your own owner. Speaking of somebody who's an owner you'll see how the companies ran and understand business and finances

I know three billionaires - one of them flies around the globe on an $80,000,000 jet. The other two fly first class - they don't want the hassle of owning a plane. You'd never know these people were that wealthy just looking at them. They don't wear jewelry, carry around Gucci or Louie bags and none of them drive Rolls or Bentleys. The one tip off that they're wealthy? All have beautiful, classy and expensive time pieces on their wrist. Very low key - and nice - cats.

I like the Walmart analogy he used. Sam and his sons could care less that you know what they look like as long as you continue to shop at their stores. That's all they care about.
