Thank you! The nested pattens used to be so intimidating but once you trace a few your eyes target the numbers you’re looking for. Thanks for watching 😊

I recently came across the Burda Magazine while traveling in Germany. I became intrigued and found the English version in the US. Unfortunately, I was so overwhelmed at first glance by the crazy looking pattern page that my magazines have just been sitting on my shelf for 6 months. Thank you, thank you, for going through the process and the steps to actually sewing one of the pieces. The magazine's instructions give all the steps as well, but I'm a visual learner and watching you gives me the push I needed to try one.

They are so fun to sew with and fit like a dream! Once you get used to it tracing will will become the best part. It’s so cost effective too!

Wow! This is the first time I have seen the Burda Magazine master pattern insert. I think you are brave to find and trace out your patterns that way. Good for you!

It’s such a great way to build up a ton of patterns, and once you start you get used to it quickly. I started with Burda Easy to get used to tracing patterns without them being nested on top of each other.

I also wanted to mention, I sew a lot of stretch fabrics. I no longer use a zig zag or lighting bolt stitch. Rather, I found a truly amazing thread that replaces these stitches. It's the Gütermann Maraflex Thread. It has been designed for this purpose and it works beautifully. You use it as your top and bobbin thread and sew with it using a straight stitch like any other thread. It's a touch more expensive but lasts longer because it's only a straight stitch.

The shorter sleeves that go down to the wrist bone are called, Bracelet sleeves. So your bracelets can be seen. Burda patterns are the only patterns that fit me with out all kinds of adjustments
