The Leekfrith gold torcs discovered by metal detectorists in the Staffordshire Moorlands in 2016 dating to around 400BC the Celtic cultural period known as La Tène; and the metal detecting find of a lifetime, the Staffordshire Hoard of Anglo-Saxon gold and silver recovered from a field at Hammerwich, near Lichfield, in 2009.
