Hey man not sure if we've ever met in the past, but my name's Luka and I played guitar and did vocals in Burn Idols. I really appreciate you putting this up on KZitem brings back some fucking amazing memories and good times I truly miss and i've lost the password and shit to our Bandcamp page so haven't been able to reach out to people interested in our music or get it onto KZitem, so ya man really made my day to see it all together on KZitem when a friend randomly asked if I ever recorded any music. Appreciate you brother!

It's a shame they didn't get to release this on LP. Today I went to Dr. Strange and saw they had their 7" there so I got it. So much memories with this band. Long Live the 5626!

It really is a shame, this material made our 7" look like a joke to me haha but that's so rad to hear you found a copy at Dr.Strange! Did it have the cloth covers I sewed and put together!? What's your name? This is Luka from Burn Idols, did we play a show with you in the past or anything!? Much appreciated for picking that 7" inch up and digging our shit. Really wish we would have kept going and had the chance to really promote and get out this record and continue to evolve, truly think it could have become something bigger then what we experienced, but what we did get to experience I'll never forget and hold onto those memories fondly. Better days when the world wasn't AS fucked haha. Hope the universe is treating you well regardless if we ever formally met. Much love brother /sister

@@ThePerfectnumb The copy I bought was the black cover with the Burn Idols name over of the skull face pic. Yaotl. I believe you might have heard it a couple of times. I did book Burn Idols at one show. Other times I went to see Burn Idols. I do remember seeing you guys at shows, notably the one where Deafheaven and Duke Nukem Forever played together at a cabin looking house in either Long Beach or in the OC. I can't remember the location. I really liked the scene I was involved with. I guess what was called the "5626". For me, I really didn't care about affiliation, I saw a lot of bands from that time and if you had good music I would listen regardless. When I booked shows I would make sure to crossover punk subgenres to get people out of their comfort zones and have a real good time. There's always time to. I prefer physical copies of music, never been much of a downloader, unless there isn't a physical one available. I'm still around and have been trying to archive a lot of the bands, scenes, and shows from the 2003 - 2011 era. I have been contributing to the Discogs page of Burn Idols' discography. I use to catalog and get releases I didn't get to buy. I've also been downloading KZitem videos of shows from that time, just in case the channels get deleted or something. Someone has to collection as much to add to the punk scene that generations before have. www.discogs.com/artist/3356824-Burn-Idols
