Have been to 143 countries, and Burning Man remains the coolest place, the most awesome adventure in the world. My first Man was about 20 years ago, when it was half the current size, and have gone every 3 or 4 years, totaling 7 Burning Man attendances. I've never taken photos or video before, but now, my friends can finally see what the experience is like, instead of me trying to explain it in words. (Note: the last few times, we leave before the Man actually burns on the Saturday night of Labor Day weekend, as the line of cars to get out the next morning can stretch for 4 to 6 hours, so this video shows all you'd want to see, except the seminal event, when 2,000 fire twirlers surround the Man, with 60,000 'Burners' surrounding them, screaming either, "Save the Man!," or the competing, "Burn the Man!," till the Man collapses into a heap of burning embers.) Please see this link for the actual burn filmed by someone else: • The Man Burns! Burning...
Also, of note, mentioned in comments, Wedding #7 was actually Susan Sarandon walking LSD guru Timothy O'Leary's ashes to the Temple to be burned on Sunday night (which raises the question, isn't that redundant to burn ashes? Okay, seriously cool, about the Timothy O'Leary ceremony).
