I'm learning still. Became a minimalist due to extreme terrain ( Rocky Mountains) and finances. The minimalist approach has left me in compromising situations plenty. One of the times I've gotten lost and had to survive the night in a blizzard at high altitude. Spotted a Jeep Grand Cherokee breaking a trail in my direction, was happy just to see that there was a road. Anyway, ran into the open waving my arms and noticed the New Jersey plates. Told him I'm lost and needed a ride. On the way out he told me he'd been driving up that road a long time, they told him to turn at the first cattle guard to get to the cabin but he never saw anyone.

Thanks, Sarge. It's good to see ya back. Especially during this lockdown, it's good to see an ol' familiar face. Keep your knowledge and experience coming to us. Love that tool roll. Makes a lot more sense than those compartmentalized things that limit the number of tools you can carry.

Theyre not too bad. Like i said.....i barely use the thing, its just nice to have the pliers when needed. Leatherman makes better ones i believe. Like a Wave, or Core etc...

Great video as always Sarge! I have that same Gerber from the military. Always pinched my hand! Much preferred my issued leatherman from 1999. Still have it and use it! Perhaps a video I think all could benefit from is sharpening different blades.
