Love the intact intro bit, I assume from the song's musical theatre origins ? btw, u were in the groove for this one, ur a damn good player huh ? anyone ever tell you ? haha

Hi Louis. Yes, that's exactly it - we included the introductory verse from the original version, which is a gem. Lots of older popular songs had these verses. Some weren't used, like with the verse to "Somewhere Over The Rainbow."

how is the piano synced with the scat solo, was that improv or arranged

I wrote out the solo and Juliet learned it so we could play/sing it together. It's sometimes referred to as a "soli," like in big band arranging when the saxes or brass play the same lines together.
