She speaks the truth but I found her to be very dismissive and slightly hateful to foreign black girls in her comment section (also to me)

omg, i remember this woman! she literally tried to bully me on tiktok and started commenting under multiple posts of mine, harassing me. she told me that i had no right to speak on black issues bc i was “ethnically ambiguous”.

I am so sorry to hear that and what you went through on TikTok. Yes, some people are very weird.

Can we just support each other my goodness..... Just because a few more Caribbean, African and Afro-Latin American women are in the media, it doesn't take away from the very established African American female presence in the US. I get it and she's entitled to her opinion, but at the same time the very criticism, which started as constructive, can quickly spiral into nitpicking and then more division. We already have enough of that. I don't think they're "ethnically ambiguous" though. I will say that the examples she used for African American women is different than the ones who were foreign. The foreign women were most likely models and/or public figures and the African American women, if I'm correct, were leaders, pioneers and high achievers in their field(s). I don't think it was a fair comparison. :-0 Regardless, I don't advocate for erasure of any kind.
