Tips:
no7 (open star for centre) : Gooseberry colour (Sugarflair)
no 2 (stamens) : Golden yellow (Sugarflair)
no 121 (petals): shade of golden yellow+ tangerine (Sugarflair)+ poppy red (Sugarflair).
no 352 or any other leaf tip with Gooseberry or green colour of choice
Black (Wilton) and a fine brush.
Description with handy tips:
Use any buttercream and make yellow, orange, red and green colours.
Either use 4 disposable bags if you are just using the tips or use 3 bags, one with a coupling as you can use the same green colour for the centre and the leaves by just changing the tip.
When putting the icing to the bags I used a tall tumbler as it makes life easier.
Put yellow, then orange and finally red to the same piping bag and turn the thicker end of the tip that has yellow colour (i.e finer end has red) so it gives a nice shade.
Make sure to coat the cupcake with a thin layer of icing (you can use any left over colour as this would not be visible)
Pipe a centre in green (any medium size star tip can be used)
Observe the positioning of the petals and pipe them with yellow/orange thicker end towards the centre (3 in the same plane and next 3 petals
the next level). When piping, slightly ruffling movement to give a more natural look.
Add as many stamens as you like using yellow colour
Using a brush, colour the top of the centre in black
Pipe few leaves to cover any gaps.
