Ha funny, a couple of weeks ago I had a "lovely" lady trying to bypass a detour to the library end up on a bike trail despite the very large no motor vehicles sign. I gave her some advice about how to correct her predicament. She asked about my level of concern and I said "you're disrupting my workout but it's funny that I have never in 18 years seen a car this deep onto the bike trail, most people realize right away that this isn't a road and back out pretty quick, I admire your dedication".

I'm pretty sure I could run this thing on any trail and be mistaken for a city worker dumping the trash. lol Thanks for watching!

There should be a coupler under the bed that you can disengage to have 2wd on the Acty. Helps with gas mileage and top speed.

I average around 45 mpg on my 97 Acty SDX. Cleaner than yours in condition with 20k miles, which may have a healthier engine possibly. These trucks are crazy fun and useful enough I have two now!

I want to purchase one of these, from what I've read so far they're not even legal to drive on the road here in Iowa, so you may have gotten lucky. Also in Google maps instead of bike routes just click on avoid highways it'll keep you off the four lanes.

I heard there was a state that banned Kei trucks but not sure which one, but if it's registered in MN I'm not sure what Iowa would do. 🇺🇸

From what I could find out, the following states do not allow Kei trucks on public roads ; Colorado, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey , Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Texas and Vermont. In Virginia, West Virginia and Georgia you can register them as Farm Vehicles. Alaska, Delaware Hawaii and South Carolina apparently have no specific laws regarding Kei Trucks. Other states limit the speed and don't allow them on highways and interstates. It can be hit and miss sometimes depending on the local DMV to have them registered so perhaps ask before you purchase one.

@@milesbartlett iowa appears to be one of those states. Although best I've found so far is an article from 2007 stating not street legal. However side by sides can be driven almost anywhere nowadays so I'm assuming if you stay of state and federal highways you'd be fine. There's also the possibility of titling it in another state.

You *can* register, title, and operate Kei trucks on Iowa roadways. As of today we have no laws prohibiting them.

No. I had a RHD EG hatch that I raced for 10 years so I'm used to it. At first it's odd, but after a couple days it's fine.

Nope. Please don’t do cross country or highway in that deathtrap. The rear wants to be in front at the slightest provocation. The sheetmetal is thin. Your legs are the crumple zone.
