There are too many awesome places or things to do in Japan, it’s really hard to recommend without any specifications 😅 may be you can ask again once you decide whose area to visit. But generally cherry blossom 🌸 in spring and fall leaves 🍁 in autumn are nice season to visit Japan 🇯🇵

Seeing you stock up all the autumn/winter vegetables I wish I were close to an Asian supermarket. I really miss the gobo. It's my favourite vegetable. Love to make salad with it or with chicken to make a rice omelet seasoned with mentsuyu instead of ketchup. And it's still strange to see stroopwafels in a Japanese supermarket hahaha Being Dutch I grew up with them but I remember always sending themto friends and family in Japan as they were not available there. If you ever find them from the brand ' kanjers' please try them. there expensive ( even in the Netherlands) but they are really good. Your gimbap looks delicious. I think I'll make it for my daughter's lunch sometimes. At her new school the kids are much more positive towards none traditional Dutch foods, so I can finally give her things like onigiri and some sushi rolls that will keep in her lunch. But tonight it's simple okayo for her with some egg ankake as she's still not feeling well enough to eat much (we'll be having katsu don with store bought chicken katsu). When I come to Japan my first stop is usually a 100 yen store to stock up and those tissues are always on the list :) I had the kitchen cleaning wipes from that pokemon line. My daughter loved them hahaha good motivation to learn her clean things. Hope you had a great trip! Sometimes there is nothing better then these last minute travels.

Hello Linna! I have made the random decision to go back to university/college in January. I will be going to a small community college, so I can save money, haha. After that, I will be going to another college, where I will be getting a second degree. The leaves here in Indiana have mostly fallen; the trees are pretty bare now except for the shrubbery and evergreens. The weather is very nice, and this time of year is always my favorite. I am glad you and your family are well!

I enjoyed watching you make gimbal as I do watch a few S Korean girls vlogs, and love seeing them make it. It seems you can put whatever you like inside and can even make them with the rice outside. What does amaze me is the use of sugar in omelettes and jam or honey in savoury sandwiches. Have a wonderful trip and as always thank you ❤❤❤👵🏴🌹🌹🌹

@LinnainJapan I am 73 and still learning, I just wish some of the ingredients were available here. I have adopted frying eggs in a ring of spring onions, and last time I cooked gyoza I took a tip and made up potato starch and water and grew it in to give a crispy frill. I wonder if the potatoes you had at your Indian meal were Bombay potatoes? I do have a quick easy recipe for those.❤️❤️❤️👵🏴

I have never seen before a japanese people who loves korean foods and setting tables for family. Amazing! I am definetly sure you can make your own kimchi by yourself. 파김치(leek kimchi) and 깍두기(radish kimchi) are very simple. Way of making leek kimchi is most simple in all kinds of kimchies. I think there are kimchi sauces in some mart. You can try it. For basic style gimbap we normally use carrots, eggs, fish cakes, spinaches, yellow radish(korean style dakuang). Yours look so wonderful! Yummy!
