The gear change will wear in quite quickly and then last forever, its a guzzi!

Enjoyed your video. I have the exact same bike, color and all. You will find neutral easier to find as you get more used to the bike. You also need to keep the revs higher. It will vibrate a lot less. Enjoy your bike.

Thank you! I've recently figured out how to get the neutral out. I love the vibration at low rpm and the change in sound at high rpm.

I’ve noticed that there’s a huge community of Moto Guzzi owners in japan, is there any special reason the company is so popular there?
@PetitGuzzi

There may seem to be a large community on the Internet. However, it is very rare to come across a Moto Guzzi in person, and they are definitely very rare. The Moto Guzzi accounts for only about 1.5% of the imported motorcycle market share in Japan! As an owner, I regret to say that they are not very popular. I think people who love Moto Guzzi in Japan are mainly attracted to the engine and mechanism and it's also attractive because it has the power to be used in small Japan without difficulty.

Hi! Really nice ride! I have tried the V7 Stone back in September 2021. Because the dealer wasn't nice to me and to my Ducati Monster I did not buy the Guzzi from him. He let me test it for 5 minutes on a busy road. The bike was cold and I have only used 3 gears. I have bought a Triumph Scrambler 2010 instead of from another dealer. Now I feel the Scrambler is too heavy when I park it. When I ride it it's amazing, the engine is giving you everything soon but it is ok and I love the look of the bike. However, I always think about the Guzzi v7 Special. I have got the same impression regarding the handlebar. It looks like a bicycle handlebar to me. I am 5.5ft (169cm) and the distance between me and the handlebar was ok. Did you change it with a higher and wider handlebar?

Thanks for watching the video! Sorry your test ride was such a disaster. The Triumph Scrambler is a very cool bike! It seems to be bigger than the V7 and a bit harder to maneuver. As for the handlebars, if you are in the 150cm height range, you probably feel that they are too far away. I'm currently using the handlebar bracket from the V9 Roamer. It is one handlebar higher than the V7 and a little closer and more comfortable. I agree that it looks like a bicycle handlebar. I may change my handlebars someday.

The trick is starting from the first gear……..is there any other way to reach the neutral on a motorbike?
@PetitGuzzi
2 жыл бұрын
In the beginning, it was hard to get into neutral even in first gear, but after about 2000km, it started to go into neutral even in second gear.

@@PetitGuzzi well, i just learnt that you can put in neutral from second gear 😂 I never tried it, i always went down to the first before putting in neutral ( i do not use it often tho, i prefer to hold the friction and stay in first gear )

It feels good to drop into first gear. In small Japan, there are too many stop-and-go's and it's a little hard to get into first gear every time !

Thank you ! The V7III is doing very well. Is it the V7 850 that you are buying✨? I test rode it the other day and it felt like quite an evolution from the V7III. The engine is often the focus, but the chassis, transmission, clutch, and everything else is different. We hope it will be the best partner for you !

@@PetitGuzzi Great to hear man! It's a 2021 V7 850 unless I could find a used 2020 with good mileage. Seem like they have a real character to them, can't wait

I hope you find a good bike. Whichever you choose to buy, enjoy your V7III V7850 once you have purchased it, as both are sure to be very special bikes! I recently rode the V7III on the track and discovered a charm that I didn't know was there when touring! I'll try to upload the video by the end of this month if possible, if you'd like to see it.

The track is a great place to learn how to ride a bike safely. I saw a Yamaha XSR when I went to the track. It is less powerful than the XSR, but the V7 was still fun !😆 I am planning to customize my V7 for the track next time.
