The Aqua Terra is such a lovely watch, and the blue dial is stunning. I have the AT Bond with the framed date at 3 o’clock. I had it serviced for the first time this year. Since it has been back I have added it into my rotation, but as it is summer my 300M on rubber seems to stay on the wrist beyond the typical rotation schedule. You could say I’m fan of SeaMasters with a 1958 SeaMaster rounding out the SeaMaster collection. Still like most enthusiasts the battle for wrist time seems to be a constant presence. I was very fortunate to be able to acquire a GMT Master II BLNR from my AD in 2015, and keep my AirKing in the rotation as well. My AirKing has the engine turned bezel and is such a comfortable piece to wear!

Grail is just a stupid term. No single watch will be the "be all" that replaces everything and satisfies you completely. You'll get it, then after some time you'll start to look for the next 'grail.' either that or you simply lose interest in watches and maybe even stop wearing them altogether. Human nature is to lust for luxurious things and never be satisfied - like money, we will never ever be content we have enough and can't help it, that's why they exploit you and charge $8000 for something that costs less than $600 to make. you are only paying for brand equity, which is about feeding your ego

For a blingy look, get the 1953 with Gold PVD coating, green dial and green/red bezel. It's the one that Tudor copied when they launched the gold Blackbay this year at Wonders and watches. :) These 1953s have build quality on par with Orient Kamasu and a tank-movement: the NH35, which is stupid-accurate: +4s per day!
