FYI we just replaced the track tensioner on our 450 and we’re able to do it without splitting the track. We jacked up the machine and pulled the track to the outside and it cleared enough to pull the idler out the front.

@@GRTRanchadventures a few years ago I did the left side and split the track. We thought long and hard about a different way to do the right side. It worked really well. I currently have it tore down waiting on parts to come in to put it back together.

Well it finally seems you can finally build a man sized burn pile. 😁 That should clear some brush in a hurry. Am I seeing the Early stages of making of a pad for a new barn?

Lmao. An 1” can add up in a long driveway. Plus no more being stuck in the driveway. You’ll need a kingsize tow rope.

I believe the 2 center control levers are high and low for steering , move 1 side forward to shift that side to high speed while keeping the other one in the rear position.

Looks like you got the fuel filters flipped, no? You have the one with the water clean out facing vertical and the one on the bottom does not have it...
@GRTRanchadventures
2 жыл бұрын
No, the original equipment had a separate water separator off the tank. The screw on top of the filter is a vent for bleeding the air out when you change the filter set. Mine is a bit different because the previous owner installed a fuel cell and lift pump. But the filter in the lower position has a screw that can be loosened to drain any water caught in the filter. It is my intention to clean the factory tank and put it back in service as soon as I can figure out how to do so and put it back to stock gravity fed fuel.

Idk if you’ll see this comment but I have bought one awhile back and it is not getting any fuel at all it will hit on starting fluid and all of the lines are clear but the pump isn’t working I don’t know much about them but I’ve worked on it a lot and still not getting fuel
@GRTRanchadventures

First things first open the vent on top of the secondary fuel filter and make sure you have fuel coming out there, next open the line that goes from the filter to the injection pump and make sure you have fuel at the pump. Next step is to bleed the injector lines at the injector, I have a video of me doing it by myself, you should see fuel and some air bubbles coming out of the line if not then your injector pump is not pumping, I have a whole series on trying to rebuild one myself but I ended up having to take mine to a shop, let me know if I can help any more and good luck 🤞

These old 450’s are definitely not 16,000 lbs. they’re about 11,500, maybe even a little less depending on configuration. Probably why your buddy didn’t have issues with a 3/4 ton and 14k trailer
