The Bavaria is available in a 2 cabin. Idk why it doesn’t show it on the website. The coolest thing about the two cabin is that it has a full dry shower set up for the port head too.

I froze the video around 9:23 and read the review of the Bavaria 40 Cruiser and the last paragraph you show says that this boat IS available in a 2 cabin layout with a storage area aft and an enlarged head with a separate shower in the 2 cabin arrangement.

Yes I agree it was an unusual occurrence however surely that exposed a very fatal weakness that was difficult to detect & may have parallels in other similar designs ? @@ChasingLatitudes

I read about this, see 'expedition evans' channel, they bought one and spent a while fixing that whole bonding area. The report on the Rafika says some of the bolts were broken before they sailed...

The "Hans" is actually pronounced "Han Sa". It comes from the Hanseatic League of medieval northern european trading league. That is your history lesson for the day.

How about a video on minimal radar requirements that you would think?
@TheSoilandGreen

And other systems that you would think would be the minimal that you would take so like what level of plotter what level of radar. I know they start at 1000 and go up to 10,000 so what’s minimal 2000

Great videos. Curious why you never talk about displacement and displacement ratios relative to sail area and length

How do you become a delivery captain? Is it an apprenticeship program? Can I have first mate for a little while?

Get your USGC Commercial skipper license, then shop yourself around. You also want to get some experience on power boats, because those are contracted for delivery, too. And yes, making friends with delivery skippers is a great idea. No one likes to sail alone if they can have crew to stand watch. Might even get a little pay sometimes.

He doesn't really recommend anything before 2000. Post 80's boats have far better space utilization and swim platforms. Overall they are much more user friendly not to mention more natural light.

Both types please The opinion of a person that moves/ captain's boats for a living beats anything an Armchair / Monday morning QB's any/every day True we / I might not agree 100% all the time , but that is why so many designs of boats .

Just keep in mind he does not cruise on the boats he delivers, does not live on them, and often take routes a cruiser does not (upwind, against current, etc.). He's all about fast boats he doesn't have to fuss with, because that's his wallet.

I agree with you on the single helm, but that big sugar scoop is the main feature I want in a sailboat. But like you said it's a personal preference.

Dude... your OPINION is an HONEST one, say that instead, and please keep trashing the sh*t ones, that's what I do, 64 orbits and sailing all over the world (on sh*t boats I would never buy too) has taught me that... so much insanity out there, glad you're not part of it, happy 'festivus', and keep it up!!!!
